Self-Study Cockpit Automation · Last updated October 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Self-Study Cockpit Automation accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data. The application is a private, owner-operated automation system and is not offered as a public service.

Google data the application accesses

The production automation is designed to use Google Apps Script management permissions needed to maintain the owner's Apps Script project and deployments. Depending on the requested operation, this may include Apps Script project source content, project metadata, version information, and deployment configuration.

The production deployment automation is not designed to request access to Gmail messages, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, or general Google Drive, Docs, or Sheets content through its OAuth client.

How Google data is used

Google user data is used only to operate and maintain the owner's private Self-Study Cockpit, including source synchronization, controlled code updates, version creation, deployment management, release verification, and rollback/recovery.

Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, resale, or unrelated purposes.

Storage and service providers

Source code, configuration, and release/recovery metadata may be stored in a private GitHub repository so changes can be reviewed, tested, versioned, and recovered. Automation may run through GitHub Actions. OAuth credentials used by automation are intended to be stored in encrypted GitHub Actions secret storage and are not intentionally written to the source repository or public logs.

Google and GitHub act as infrastructure/service providers for their respective services. Data is not sold. It is not shared with third parties except as necessary to operate these infrastructure services or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

Project source and release history may be retained for as long as needed to operate, audit, or recover the private system. OAuth credentials are retained only while needed for authorized automation and can be revoked or replaced by the owner. Repository data can be deleted by the owner when no longer required.

Security

The system is designed to minimize OAuth permissions, keep the Apps Script web application owner-only, store sensitive automation credentials in protected secret storage, and maintain versioned recovery information.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if the application's use of Google user data materially changes.
